The newest adaptation of Jane Austen's brilliant and celebrated novel, Pride & Prejudice, while not the fleshed-out, gorgeous perfection of A&E version, is too beautiful not to see. I'd write a review, but I don't think it requires one. Just see it.
I was skimming through your blog and I found this, and I just have to say that I wholeheartedly agree. I was very reluctant to see this new P&P because I knew there was no way it could even come close to the A&E version. However, my mom dragged me to it (*g*) and I ended up loving it. I was right, nothing could ever top the A&E version, but for a 2 hour movie, they did a beautiful job condensing the storylines. I loved it, and I'm glad you did too. :)

I am in love with the stage. Acting, singing, dancing, directing, audiencing -- I love it all. And I heartily believe that all of it can, should, and will bring glory to the Original Storyteller.
